Privacy notice

Short version: we use your details to price and arrange your trip, share only what the operator needs to drive it, and never sell them.

Who we are

The data controller is Ivan Infante, trading as Groupride. Contact us on WhatsApp at +44 7508 549792 about anything in this notice.

What we collect

  • What you send us when you ask for a price: your name, WhatsApp number, optional email, the trip (pickups, destinations, dates, times, flight number), group size, luggage, accessibility needs and any notes.
  • The WhatsApp conversation that follows, including payment confirmations.
  • Anonymous, cookieless page statistics (Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights). These do not identify you and set no cookies.

The quote form keeps your answers in your own browser (session storage) so they survive a page refresh. Nothing is sent to us until you send the WhatsApp message yourself.

How we use it and why

  • To quote and arrange your trip, and to stay in touch about it (to take steps at your request before a contract, and to perform the contract).
  • To keep booking and payment records (legal obligation: tax and accounting rules).
  • To understand which pages help people book, from anonymous statistics (legitimate interests).

Who we share it with

The independent PSV-licensed operator who drives your trip receives the details needed to run it: pickup and drop-off points, times, group size, luggage, accessibility needs and a lead contact name and number. WhatsApp (Meta) carries the conversation under its own terms. We never sell your details or use them for advertising.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't become bookings are deleted within 12 months. Booking and payment records are kept for six years, as UK tax rules require.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Message us and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
