Booking terms
Groupride arranges group travel with independent, PSV-licensed coach and minibus operators. These terms explain how a booking works.
1. Who you are dealing with
Groupride is a trading name of Ivan Infante. We arrange your journey as a booking agent. The journey itself is provided by an independent operator that holds a PSV operator licence, supplies the vehicle and driver, and is responsible for carrying out the journey safely and lawfully.
2. Prices on the website
Prices on this website are “from” guides for typical journeys. They are not an offer. Your price is the fixed figure we send you in writing on WhatsApp, which lists anything extra (such as airport parking or tolls) before you pay.
3. Booking and payment
A booking is confirmed when you accept the written quote and pay the deposit it states. The written quote also states when the balance is due and how to pay it. Coach and minibus hire in vehicles with 10 or more seats is zero-rated for VAT.
4. Changes and cancellations
Tell us about any change as early as you can on WhatsApp. We'll confirm in writing whether it changes the price. Cancellation terms, including any part of the deposit that cannot be refunded, are stated in your written quote before you pay.
5. On the day
- Driver details arrive on WhatsApp 24 hours before pickup.
- The number of passengers must not exceed the seats booked. The driver may refuse to carry anyone whose behaviour puts the vehicle, driver or other passengers at risk.
- Waiting time and timings beyond those booked are as stated in your written quote.
- Damage or excessive cleaning caused by your group may be charged at cost, with evidence.
6. Luggage and accessibility
Tell us the number of large cases and any accessibility needs when you ask for a price, so the right vehicle is booked. If the luggage on the day is much more than booked, it may not all fit.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any right you have under consumer law. We are responsible for arranging your booking with reasonable care and skill; the operator is responsible for the journey.
8. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
